Has there been a Star Wars vs Star Trek vs EvE thread yet?
If not, star wars would most definately win hands down.
Star Trek vs EvE could be interesting.
Stardestroyer.net is full of nerds flaming each other over these topics.

star wars ships are ridiculously powerful if you just look at the stats they are given. eve ships would be like throwing guppies into a pirahna tank in comparison. trek ships would be entirely outclassed except for one nasty trick. they can engage targets while in warp which means they can pick off anything they want with no return fire coming back at them at all. an interdictor cruiser "might" be able to create a zone where warp isn't possible but even if that works the zone is too small to actually protect anything. tactically trek ships should be nearly impossible to beat. strategically i'd bet on the star wars empire winning because it can attack all fed worlds and bases at the same time with huge forces. hard to win when you lose your pop'n base and logistics in one fell swoop.
Star Wars ships actually kind of suck when compared to Star Trek ships. SW's ships use lasers and ions as their primary offense, it's been shown many times in the various Trek incarnations that that kind of weaponry bounces right off of their shields. Meanwhile, the Trek universe (not just Federation) boats have things like Phasers, Quantum and Transphasic torpedoes, Ships powered by artificial black holes......not to mention that silly red matter from the movie. Trek ships are not as large as Star Wars or Eve, but their tech outclasses both by far. Jovians vs Trek might be a more fair fight. Maybe.
Now Star Wars vs Eve is interesting. Both use very similar stuff and have ships they go right on up to ridiculously large. I'd have to give the edge to EvE I think. Star Wars was based on George Lucas's idea of science in the 70's and neutered a bit to make the snub fighters shine. In eve, an X-wing or Tie fighter would be smaller and less dangerous and a Hobgoblin and fairly irrelevant in a fleet fight. In the larger ships, Amarr does lasers better than the Empire. I'll take an Amarrian Tachyon over a turbo laser anyday. No to mention the Frenchies shooting antimatter and the various exotic torpedo and projetile warheads of the Caldari and Minnies. Not to mention, the superiority of the Eve cap fleets. Star Wars only had a couple of those Super Star Destroyers, Eve has dozens of Titans and even more MOM's which are roughly the same size and a SSD and probably more powerful. The Death Stars would be more challenging, but if a bunch of space rednecks in fighters and armed freighters could blow it up, I think someone in Eve would find a way to suicide gank it.
